JAUDA is a thriving and rapidly growing business inspired by Mara, a reformer Pilates advocate based in the beautiful city of Brisbane Australia, specialising in reformer Pilates mats and quality made grippy socks!

With over a decade of experience as a high-performance athlete  she's always been passionate about pushing boundaries and striving for excellence. As a competitive high jumper she reached incredible heights placing 6th in the country even bearing the challenge of a fractured ankle; and was honored with opportunities for training for the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Her athletic journey extended beyond highjump, competing at a state level in events such as long jump, discus, javelin, and more.

During her school and university years, she showcased exceptional talent in team sports. As a versatile volleyball player, she excelled in the roles of center blocker and outside hitter while also demonstrating her athletic prowess in basketball and soccer. This diverse sporting career fueled her love for movement and resilience but also placed unique demands on her body.

This personal journey inspired her to turn to reformer Pilates, a practice that helped restore her strength and balance. From that discovery she founded her venture, dedicated to creating high-quality, uniquely designed reformer mats and grippy socks.

Her mission is to empower others to move with confidence, comfort, and style, guided by a lifelong passion for fitness and well-being.

As a Pilates lover with Latvian and Australian heritage she infuses her brand with a piece of her background. The brand name ‘Jauda,’ translates to ‘power’ in Latvian, it perfectly captures her ethos. For her, power signifies strength, motivation, determination, confidence, and unwavering grit—the very qualities she relies on to thrive and be the best version of herself, benefiting others along the way. 

Her logo a beautiful representation of the sun which in Latvian ancient folklore means eternal movement and life. For her "Pilates gives me life through movement."
